Mother’s Day

I’m just happy to celebrate that my head is still attached to my body.

Now as a mom I have to put way more effort than I’ve ever done before. My problem-solving and organizing skills are put to use everyday, at all times. Everything takes more time, gets more complicated, sticky, messy and dirty but it gave my life a whole brand new meaning.I want to set an example just like my mom did for me. She was able to look at the bigger picture and brought us to the States to provide us a safe new life. She always encouraged me to follow my passions, stay close to GD and to never settle for anything that didn’t bring me happiness. Without her emotional support I wouldn’t have had the freedom and encouragement to take all the risks that I had to take in order to land where I am today. I’m a work in progress mom enjoying one moment a time and appreciating everything that GD brings my way.

Happy Mother’s Day to all you beautiful women making the impossible happen!

May this year’s experience bring empowerment to grow and make us stronger.
